C-Coat GIFR is an intumescent protective coating used in high fire rating settings to block the spread of flames. The product is water-based, solvent-free, and environmentally friendly. It prevents mould and fungi buildup, offers water resistance, blocks condensation, protects against rust, and reduces vibration and noise. The coating maintains thermal insulating properties for over 10 years and physical properties beyond 20 years. It can be applied to surfaces up to 300°C without production downtime and creates 'safe-to-touch' finishes on hot metal surfaces.
