C-Coat is a water-based energy-saving thermal insulating coating system originally developed for the space industry. The product is water resistant, blocks condensation, protects against rust, decreases vibration and noise, is non-expanding, UV stable; for fire protection, use the intumescent coatings WIFR and GIFR. It creates a 'safe-to-touch' finish when applied over hot metal surfaces (up to 300°C), helping prevent skin burn injuries. The coating is compatible with classic insulation materials and works in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. As a water-based, solvent-free formula, it is an environmentally friendly material that prevents mould and fungi buildup.
